As an intern at Dewberry, you’ll work on meaningful project assignments side-by-side with senior leadership, network with other employees and interns, and participate in professional development activities. Many of our interns return for multiple internships and continue as full-time employees after graduation.

A Day in the Life of A Dewberry Intern
During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
Our interns get the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and events, including:
- Networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business.
- Learning about our services, projects, and clients.
- Professional development workshops, including a career planning workshop and a DiSC assessment, to learn more about themselves and how to work effectively with others.
- Summer-long group project where interns work alongside firm leaders to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
Dewberry’s summer internship program helped me solidify what I want my future career to look like. It helped me realize that I am in the right place for what I want to do. I think what sets this intern program apart is that you are working on real ongoing projects in your department and given responsibilities like a full-time employee, giving you real-life experience on what a job at the company would look like.
