Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the completion of Harmony at Enterprise, a senior living facility in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Dewberry provided entitlement, land planning, landscape architecture, site/civil engineering, site related permitting, surveying, and sustainability services for the project, which spanned six years.
The facility houses independent living, assisted living, and memory care units with exterior amenities, including a bocce court, putting green, patio with grill area, walking trail, and memory care garden. The exterior site also features a sustainable stormwater management (SWM) pond along the walking trail, which includes benches for residents to enjoy. The team designed micro-bioretentions and bioswales to meet environmental site design (ESD) and site-specific requirements, as well as the SWM pond and underground SWM retention facility. Because the site is located within a SWM control area in Prince George’s County, Maryland, the design meets 100-year storm requirements.
“This senior living facility provides residents with every option for care, needs, and lifestyle,” says Dewberry Senior Project Manager Bryan Focht, PE. “It is great to see the residing community enjoying the culmination of over six years of work.”
