Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of Lee Smith, PE, to associate vice president. Smith is the bridge structures department manager for the Mechanicsburg office.
With more than 25 years of experience, Smith joined
Dewberry in 2000 and has technical expertise in the design and preparation of
preliminary type, size, and location (TS&L) and foundation submissions, as
well as plans, specs, and estimate (PS&E) packages for both new and
rehabilitated steel and concrete bridges. His background includes projects
primarily for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
from the Pennsylvania State University (1999) and is a member of the American
Society of Highway Engineers.
