Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of more than 70 employees nationwide, including two in the firm’s Rancho Cordova, California, office. Brian Hansen, PE, has been promoted to associate vice president, and Miguel Ramirez, PE, has been promoted to senior associate.
Brian Hansen is the firm’s California structures service lead. He has over 25 years of experience and is currently leading the design of more than 10 transportation-related projects. Hansen earned a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering from the University of California – San Diego (1996).
Miguel Ramirez is the firm’s northern California civil services lead. He has over 15 years of experience and has worked on a variety of transportation projects, including highways, local roads, interchanges, intersections, multi-use trails, and transit facilities. Ramirez earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California State University (2006).
