Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced the promotion of more than 70 employees nationwide, including Patrick Gerstner, PE, who has been promoted to associate vice president in the firm’s Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, office.
Gerstner has nearly three decades of experience and currently serves as department manager for the highway design group in the Mechanicsburg office. His background includes the development of preliminary and final roadway designs for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s roadway reconstruction, preventive maintenance, bridge replacements, and intersection improvement projects.
Gerstner earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech (1993) and is a professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
