U.S. Army Engineer Capt. Ryan Kidd has joined Dewberry as part of the Army’s Engineer Regiment training with industry (TWI) rotational program.
TWI is a work-experience program that provides extensive exposure to managerial techniques and industrial procedures within the private sector to competitively selected officers. During his year-long stay with Dewberry, Kidd will experience an accelerated exposure to activities within a broad spectrum of the firm’s disciplines, functions, and resources, spending time among several departments, including engineering, architecture, national programs, and corporate management.
The fourth candidate to participate in the TWI program at Dewberry, Kidd began his one-year rotation on August 10. He has served for nearly eight years on active duty with one combat deployment. More recently, Kidd served as a Company Commander for the Alpha Company, 40th Engineer Battalion, at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Kidd received his master’s degree in geological/geophysical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (2014) and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Methodist University (2004).
