Town of Cary Selects Dewberry for Stormwater Management Contract

Firm to provide on-call professional services for city’s MS4 infrastructure jurisdictions.

Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that it has been selected by the town of Cary, located in central North Carolina, for an on-call contract to provide professional engineering services related to its municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4).

The MS4 are made up of numerous interconnections of
public and private storm drainage infrastructure systems, of which Dewberry may
provide stormwater engineering and surveying services for those inside city
limits. The firm has provided similar stormwater management services for the
cities of Raleigh and Wilmington for more than 20 years in support of
residential, greenway, and transportation projects.

“As Cary continues to grow and welcome new residents and
businesses, and weather events become more severe, it’s critical to maintain
safe and reliable infrastructure through proactive stormwater management,” says
Dewberry Project Manager Jay Jayakrishnan, Ph.D., PE, PMP. “We’re excited to
partner with the town to help manage their stormwater systems, leading to more
resilient infrastructure for Cary’s businesses, residents, and visitors.”
