Marketing manager also recently elected as a governor of the New York Building Foundation’s class of 2018.

Liz Archer, marketing pursuit manager in Dewberry’s Bloomfield, New Jersey, office, has been selected as one of the Women Building Council’s (WBC) 2017 Outstanding Women. Archer was recognized for her commitment to increasing diversity and the role of women in construction and professional services industries.

Archer was presented with her award at WBC’s 13th Annual Champion Awards Dinner on May 16, 2017, and was honored alongside Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, who received WBC’s Visionary Award.

Archer was also recently elected as a governor of the board for the New York Building Foundation in the class of 2018. The New York Building Foundation was formed in 1998 to promote the long-term growth and well-being of the industry through a program of research, educational, and philanthropic activities. “I look forward to assisting the foundation leaders with their goal to ‘bring an outer borough mentality to the 96-year-old organization, focusing on bringing in members from all across New York City,'” says Archer.

Archer has 20 years’ experience in marketing, affirmative action compliance, and administration for top design and construction firms in New York and New Jersey. She is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Professional Women in Construction, Women’s Transportation Seminar, CoreNet New Jersey, and NAIOP New Jersey; and was recently invited to be on the Ambassador Council for Nontraditional Employment for Women.
