Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that it has been awarded its fifth consecutive five-year award under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coastal Geospatial Services Contract (CGSC). The CGSC is a $49-million architecture and engineering indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that supports NOAA Office for Coastal Management’s (OCM) Digital Coast.
For more than 20 years, Dewberry has provided OCM with geospatial data, training, tools, and technology, supporting the agency’s mission to understand, monitor, and manage the nation’s coastal environments. Under this new IDIQ contract, Dewberry has been assigned two initial task orders to date, including bathymetric lidar acquisition of Lake America and landcover mapping work in Connecticut.
“Our team is honored to continue our more than two-decade partnership with NOAA supporting their efforts to understand, monitor, and manage the nation’s coastal environments,” says Dewberry Senior Associate and Program Manager Dave Stein, GISP. “The data and technology we provide supports communities as they prepare for the future.”
