Dewberry Welcomes Environmental Expertise of Brittney Kelly, PE

Transportation planning engineer to support southeast projects in the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office.

Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has hired Brittney Kelly, PE, as a transportation planning engineer in the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office.

Kelly will support Dewberry’s southeast transportation planning and environmental projects. She will be part of the team responsible for providing planning, natural resource assessment, design, and utility coordination services for transportation and site/civil projects across the southeast.

During her five years as a transportation engineering professional with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Kelly was responsible for the environmental documentation and roadway design associated with bridge replacement projects across North Carolina.

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University and is a registered professional engineer in the state of North Carolina.

Dewberry has welcomed six other environmental professionals to the southeast region in the past two years. The additions of Beth Smyre, PE, Anne Burroughs, Elizabeth Lusk, and Roger Lewis, PE, to the Raleigh office; Nicole Gough, PWS, to the Orlando, Florida, office; and Connie Lasher to the Pensacola, Florida, office have helped Dewberry offer southeast clients more transportation planning and environmental services. The group’s presence extends from southern Virginia to Florida and into the Gulf Coast states.
