Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Evan Stone has joined the firm as an associate and senior client relations manager, supporting clients and projects across North Carolina.
Stone brings with him nearly 20 years of experience, with a focus on economic and industrial development, both as a client relations manager and developer. Prior to joining Dewberry, he served as vice president of business and industrial development for a private-sector firm. Stone has led the development of many commercial and industrial sites in North Carolina, with experience in client relations, construction, due diligence, planning, project coordination, and public engagement.
In his new role with Dewberry, Stone will work with new and existing clients to foster strong relationships and capture projects in the commercial, state, and local markets.
“We are excited to have Evan join our practice,” says Dewberry Vice President and Business Unit Manager Matt West, PE, LEED AP. “His unique experience in economic and industrial development will be key in supporting our clients in this industry.”
Stone received his Master of Public Administration and bachelor’s degree from Auburn University (2004 and 2001). He is the president of the North Carolina Triad chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks and a member of the North Carolina Economic Developers Association.
