Dewberry announced that Brett Tressler has been hired as the firm’s health and safety manager.

Tressler is responsible for implementing and promoting the firm’s safety program, developing and delivering new safety trainings, and overseeing firmwide safety procedure compliance. Since joining the firm, he has been involved in the task force to update Dewberry’s vehicle policy and has assisted in the development of a standard activity hazard analysis for many of the firm’s operations.

“Our goal is simple: to make sure that each employee returns home safe and unharmed at the end of every day,” said Director of Safety Jeffrey Ambrose, CSP, CHST, CET. “I’m confident that with the addition of Brett, we’ll be able to implement not only better, but more efficient safety programs in order to uphold this goal.”

Prior to joining the firm, Tressler worked as an occupational safety technician for a private university in Washington, D.C. He earned a master’s degree in leadership (2017) and a bachelor’s degree in safety science (2014), both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
