Dewberry announced that Cameron Palmore, PE, LS, has been hired as an associate and senior project manager.
Palmore brings with him more than 20 years of experience in site/civil engineering, utilities design, land planning and development. Palmore has worked on a broad range of site/civil projects, including utility design, athletic fields, parking lot design, redevelopment, and stormwater solutions. His new role will include management of higher education projects for clients across central Virginia, and encompasses technical oversight and client management responsibilities.
Palmore states, “I’m thrilled to be working with Dewberry’s new and existing clients to help execute their visions for campus infrastructure projects, whether it be the development of existing land or redeveloping and revitalizing an area. I’ve always been passionate about watching communities grow and integrate into their broader localities.”
Palmore earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech (1995). He is a board member of the Virginia Tech Land Development Design Initiative and the Powhatan Soccer Association; member of the Powhatan County Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission; and recipient of the Virginia Tech, Charles, E. “Cameron makes a wonderful addition to our team,” says Dewberry Senior Associate and Business Unit Manager Devin Keeler, PE, LEED AP. “He’s experienced in all facets of site/civil and utilities engineering, from project scope to completion, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him lead our higher education projects.”
