Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has hired Cyndy Davenport as a virtual design coordinator. Based in the firm’s Fairfax, Virginia, office, she will be leading AutoCAD Civil 3D® implementation for Dewberry’s engineering groups.
Davenport has more than three decades of experience with engineering design and three-dimensional services. Her portfolio includes providing design visualization consulting services for civil engineering and surveying firms focused on training, support, and customization and implementation of projects across the country. Prior to joining Dewberry, Davenport served as the director of technology solutions at Bowman Consulting.
Davenport earned her associates degrees in engineering and natural science from Tidewater Community College. She is a member of Civil BIM International. She has co-authored several books on Civil 3D, such as, Mastering Civil 3D 2014 and Mastering Civil 3D 2015. Additionally, she has presented at various events, including AutoDesk University, CAD Camps, and seminars along the east coast.
