Our firm, as a key subconsultant, is part of a team that was awarded a fourth consecutive indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for civil design and engineering services in support of projects primarily in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The majority of work under this five-year, $30 million contract will be completed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
As Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point is one of the primary bed-down locations for the U.S. Marine Corps’ F-35B Lightning II Jet, work on this contract centers around sustainment, restoration, and modernization of the installation’s facilities and infrastructure to support the new platform. Prior design work on this contract has included airfield pavements, roadways, water distribution, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, security fencing, and waterside structures.
