We were selected along with ENTRIX to perform the South Branch of Bradley Creek drainage improvement project as part of our on-call services contract. The goal of the project was to provide drainage relief and required the acquisition of numerous easements for long-term maintenance of these improvements. According to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, the creek is classified as SC, which includes aquatic life, secondary recreation, and salt water and has high-quality spawning areas for aquatic life. Our services included assistance with public outreach, environmental and survey field investigations, preparation of a feasibility study, preparation of bid documents and cost estimating for culvert and channel improvements, environmental permitting, and bid and construction phase assistance.
