Sweetgreen is a leading seasonal, fast-casual brand, focused on improving communities through healthy eating. In partnership with its store development team, we are supporting the design of new locations throughout the U.S., by focusing on geographic expansion, format optimization, and speed to market. We work on all phases of the project, from real estate and strategy through construction and facility management, to deliver high-quality dining experiences through the physical space, material selections, and brand recognition. Our team works closely with the client’s internal design and construction team to meet objectives for each new location to deliver based on brand ethos and, simultaneously, on-time and on-budget.

Through nature-inspired design elements, the brand promotes a healthier lifestyle to communities by offering well-positioned, attractive store locations that invite customers to explore alternatives to fast food with the same convenience. Our firm and sweetgreen have collaborated to find new ways to improve customer experience—which is especially challenging during a pandemic—by tracking projects through their entire life cycle and influencing how the physical space can support new and evolving service delivery options. Careful space planning; considerate material, finish, and furniture selections; and signage can all demonstrate superior design and safety.
